English version

The twins Sara and Simon are on the way to their life’s most important ballet competition at the famous ballet scene Bolshoi in Russia. They have trained for this their whole life and nothing can fail. But one morning, Simon is missing and Sara puts a hunt on finding him.

When I heard that this book was about ballet, I was excited to read it. I have never read a book about ballet and was therefore very curious on the plot. I think that some of what I liked most about the book was that the whole time there was given small hints about Simons would disappearance the day after. This was repeated a few times and it was quite thrilling to read now that you knew that Simon would disappear. When Simon finally disappeared, Sara is of course completely out of herself and will do almost anything to find him. I think it was described quite well.

Unfortunately I had a hard time figuring out how the people and the surroundings looked like when they were only outlined in broad terms, which I think is rather unfortunate, because it would all just have made the book better. In addition, I thought so too that the end went a little fast. Sara spent very much time trying to find Simon, but suddenly it was a bit like the author just wanted to be done with the story and therefore hurried to write the action out. However, I really liked that the book took place in Russia. I do not know why but somehow it made the story more interesting I think. Overall it is an okay book that is quickly read.
